Respect Life Month, celebrated throughout October, is meant to provide an opportunity to reflect on the gift of life and learn about the challenges and threats to life and human dignity. It also promotes an open dialogue on ways to promote the flourishing of human life from conception to natural death.

To commemorate the month, Campus Ministry, in partnership with Marquette For Life, is hosting the following:

Oct. 23: A candlelight prayer vigil in support of pregnant women, biological mothers, adoptive/parenting families and unborn children, will take place at 9:15 p.m. at the Grotto of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Oct. 24: Two “Masses for Life” will be held at noon and 10 p.m. at the St. Joan of Arc Chapel.

More information about other Respect Life-related events promoted throughout the year by Campus Ministry is available online.
