Advisory: Marquette to host Class of 2020 graduate recognition walk Oct. 2

Class of 2020 celebration banner imageMILWAUKEE — Marquette University will honor its Class of 2020 with a graduate recognition walk Saturday, Oct. 2, beginning at 4 p.m., on the university’s Central Mall.

Class of 2020 graduates will be recognized by Marquette President Michael R. Lovell, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Kimo Ah Yun, and university leaders, and will have their names called during a procession on stage. Up to two guests will be able to cross the stage with each graduate.

Nearly 450 graduates of Marquette’s Class of 2020 and over 1,200 total participants are expected to attend.

Event Information:

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 2, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Where: Marquette University Central Mall, located between Raynor Memorial Libraries and Lalumiere Hall
  • Parking: Free parking is available in the two visitor parking structures on campus: Wells Street Parking Structure (1240 W. Wells St.) and the 16th Street Parking Structure (749 N. 16th St.)
  • Weather: The graduate recognition walk will happen rain or shine.
  • Livestream: The Graduate Recognition Walk and Program will be live streamed on YouTube at this link.
