March 9, 2023

MILWAUKEE — The Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education at Marquette University Law School is partnering with TMJ4 to co-host “Project: Drive Safer—A Reckless-Driving Town Hall” on Monday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m. at Eckstein Hall, 1215 W. Michigan St.

In association with TMJ4’s Project: Drive Safer and the Sherman Park Community Association, Lubar Center director Derek Mosley and TMJ4 anchor Shannon Simms will moderate a town hall with city and state officials. The evening will include information about the rules of the road, efforts by officials to curtail reckless driving, and an opportunity for those attending to ask questions.

Registration is open to the public and available online. Media wishing to attend should contact Kevin Conway at kevin.m.conway@marquette.edu.

Through public programming such as the Marquette Law School Poll, “On the Issues” conversations with newsmakers, public lectures by leading scholars, conferences on issues of public significance, and the work of its Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education, Marquette Law School seeks to advance civil discourse about important law and public policy matters.
