Welcome to Marquette! We know that you play an important role in your student’s success. Whether you are an “expert parent” or new to the college scene, you likely have many questions about Marquette University. We encourage you to attend one or both of our summer programs with your student (see “Preview” and “New Student and Family Orientation” links for details). We have created intentional programs at both events just for family members of new students, where you will have the opportunity to ask your questions, learn about resources for your student, and meet Marquette faculty, administrators, and current students.

The Office of Student Development is one of many places on campus here to help you navigate this transition with your student. Please do not hesitate to contact us at 414-288-1412.

If you are a parent of a new Marquette student, you will find additional resources through the Parents Association.
