Marquette Votes is a coaltional campaign to increase student engagement in the 2020 election. Our goal is to increase student voting participation and civic learning, and make Marquette University one of the most engaged campuses in the country. Marquette is a participating campus in the Campus Vote Project and has received an Ask Every Student implementation grant from the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition to implement our civic engagement plan.

Marquette Votes is led by Dr. Amber Wichowsky, Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Marquette Democracy Lab, and Dr. Rob Smith, Harry G. John Professor of History and Director of the Center for Urban Research, Teaching & Outreach (CURTO). Our team of student fellows and interns work closely with campus offices, including the Office of Public Affairs, Office of Student Affairs, and Office of Media and Communication, to ensure that students are informed and empowered to participate in the electoral process.
