What advice do you have for college applicants?
Unapologetically be yourself! The application process is the time for us, admissions counselors, to get to know you. Recognize that you are an all-star, so do not be shy and please share your story in a way that is most comfortable for you. Oftentimes students think they need to tell admissions counselors things we want to hear, but what we want to hear about is what makes you, authentically you.
How do you like your cheese?
The real question is how do I not like my cheese? I’m a huge cheese head! Fried, fresh, etc. Although if I had to choose, my favorite would be cream cheese on a slice of red velvet or carrot cake!
