Lord Jesus,
Thank you for the fathers
and those that are like fathers in our lives.
Help them to know how much they are loved and appreciated. 

For their care and compassion. 
For the lessons they teach. 
For their unending love and support. 

Grant them wisdom when they are called to new challenges. 
Give them strength in times of hardship. 
Light their path when the road forward becomes unclear. 

May they feel your gift of peace. 
We prayer in gratitude and in your most holy name.
