As a member of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), the HPAC is a Translational Research Unit (TRU) for exercise and health testing. Services are available to both university and private research investigators. The HPAC collaborates with various university area including the College of Nursing, the Opus College of Engineering, Department of Psychology and Department of Biological Sciences.

The HPAC can assist in all phases of research including:

• Determine appropriate testing for the population
• Design flowsheets or data forms
• Assist with appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB) training for team members
• IRB Submission
• Train personnel on equipment use
• Data collection
• Quality assurance
• Schedule of spaces or equipment
