Collections Services is comprised of the Cataloging and Metadata Department and Acquisitions.
Acquisitions handles the purchasing of new library materials and the Cataloging and Metadata Department creates metadata for and catalogs library resources to ensure they are discoverable and accessible through the catalog and discovery layer.
The work in Collection Services is done in coordination with the subject specialist/liaison librarians.
