This is a descriptive inventory of physical material in the James Wright Foley Collection.
Note that material may be added to the collection as it comes to the Archives.
Copyright: Exclusive copyright of material is held by the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation and Diane and John Foley.
Restrictions: Due to the sensitive nature of some of the material, a selection of material is restricted until 2075. When possible, the Archives will do it's best to provide redacted copies of the material. The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel, privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of these records. Consult an archivist for further information.
Scope and Content: The collection is currently divided into 8 sub-series that highlight different periods of James Wright Foley's life and work, as well as efforts to find and free him, and postumous material. Legacy Foundation. The collection consists of analog material (paper, photographs, etc.) and audiovisual and digital material (videos, photos, textual documents, etc.).
