Web Publishing & Hosting
The Lab’s web publishing & hosting service is available for students, faculty and staff to develop digital projects, scholarship, and textbooks. Examples include interactive websites, public-facing student writing, open-access scholarly publications, and open education resources.
The Lab can provide approximately 3GB of shared web hosting for three (3) years. We can install and host web publishing applications that use a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP). Popular web publishing applications we can host include:
- WordPress
- Pressbooks
- Omeka
- Scalar
The Lab can provide consultation and instruction for the applications we're hosting. And of course, the Lab always offers consultation services and support for a wide variety of digital scholarship and web technologies.
We accept applications for web publishing project support on a semester-by-semester basis. Applications for web publishing project support for the Fall 2023 semester are due before the end of the day Wednesday May 31.
For more information about web publishing project support from the Digital Scholarship Lab, you can read our Framework for Web Publishing Collaboration page.
