Carrels, Research or Study

Carrels are small, lockable offices within the library that graduate students (and some faculty) may apply for. Click on the preceding links to find information about them and about the application process.

Check-outs and Renewals

The Circulation Desks in both Raynor and Memorial Libraries handle book check-outs and returns, recalls for library material checked-out to another user, and all notices and bills for overdue material. The Raynor Circulation Desk is located just inside the turnstiles and the Memorial Circulation Desk is located on level 2 next to the Bridge.

The Digital Scholarship Lab, located on the lower level of Raynor, handles checkouts and returns for laptops, adapters, cables, cameras, and other digital media equipment.

Classroom Reservations

Raynor Library has two computer classrooms that faculty and staff may reserve for occasional use. All such requests will be reviewed by the Library's Research and Instructional Services Department.
