Carrels are small, lockable offices within the library that graduate students (and some faculty) may apply for. Click on the preceding links to find information about them and about the application process.
Check-outs and Renewals
The Circulation Desk in both Raynor Memorial Libraries handles book check-outs and returns, recalls for library material checked-out to another user, and all notices and bills for overdue material. The Raynor Circulation Desk is located just inside the turnstiles.
The Digital Scholarship Lab, located on the lower level of Raynor, handles checkouts and returns for laptops, adapters, cables, cameras, and other digital media equipment.
Raynor Library has two computer classrooms that faculty and staff may reserve for occasional use. All such requests will be reviewed by the Library's Research and Instructional Services Department.
The Conference Center in Raynor Memorial Libraries provides comfortable meeting spaces for university academic and administrative needs. Located in the lower level of the library, the center can accommodate events ranging from small meetings up to larger conferences with attendance up to 120 persons. The rooms are capable of a variety of physical and technological configurations providing flexibility for meetings and presentations.
