Tim RaboltTimothy Rabolt, MA

Tim Rabolt (he/him) serves as the Director of Recovery at Marquette, where he is building a supportive community for students in recovery from substance use concerns. Having entered recovery at age 18 during his senior year of high school, he brings both lived experience and professional expertise to his work supporting college students in recovery.

In addition to his role at Marquette, Timothy works in communications for JBS International, a public health research and consulting firm based in the Washington, D.C. area. Prior to joining JBS, he spent five years leading the Association of Recovery in Higher Education (ARHE), a national nonprofit membership organization representing collegiate recovery programs across the United States.

Timothy earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University. He relocated to Milwaukee in December 2023 with his daughter, Nina. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with others in recovery, especially playing basketball and other sports, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, 76ers, and Phillies.

Grace AlvarezGrace Alvarez, MA

Grace Alvarez (she/her) is the Collegiate Recovery Coordinator at Recovery at Marquette. Her work is rooted in collective care, accountability, and equity, ensuring that policy and organizational decisions reflect the voices of those most impacted. Though originally from rural Pennsylvania, she has lived in Milwaukee since 2018 after committing to study at Marquette University for her undergraduate education. Grace earned her master's in educational policy and foundations from Marquette University, where she continued her passion for building equitable, sustainable, and community-centered solutions. Grace aims to expand the reach of Recovery at Marquette’s mission through a lens of curiosity and compassion. She is open to growing both herself and the recovery community, fostering a space where everyone feels supported and empowered to thrive. Grace’s hobbies include reading, discovering new (and old) music, doodling, and playing soccer.
