Symbolic of her thirst for knowledge, Sue fondly recalls studying on the benches outside St. Joan of Arc Chapel. At Marquette, she developed a desire for lifelong learning, providing her with a foundation for a celebrated career in education.

As the program manager for interprofessional education at the Medical College of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy, Sue puts her education degree into action by selecting and implementing interprofessional education programs and activities to fulfill standards of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.

Sue was a participant in the Interprofessional Task Force collaboration between the Medical College of Wisconsin and Marquette University. She valued this opportunity to give back to Marquette.

“I believe the next generation of graduating pharmacy students will be the change agents that bring about improved patient care as a result of collaborative interprofessional health care teams,” Sue says. “I hope to inspire this collaborative nature by embedding unique and innovative interprofessional education opportunities into the doctor of pharmacy curriculum.”

Sue adds, “This award means I have committed to use what I have learned from my years at Marquette and pay it forward to ultimately benefit others.”

Sue earned her bachelor’s degree from Marquette in mathematics education and her graduate degree from University of Phoenix in education/eLearning. She looks forward to cultivating a lifelong curiosity for knowledge.
