EOP, a federally funded TRIO program, is an academic program that motivates and enables low-income and first generation students whose parents do not have a baccalaureate degree to enter and succeed in higher education.
The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are Federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals form disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO at Marquette includes five programs targeted to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to postbaccalaureate programs.
