Urban Scholars Program

In 2006, Marquette introduced the Urban Scholars program and brought the first cohort to campus in the fall of 2007. The Program offers up to forty (40) annual, full-tuition renewable scholarships to high-achieving with a history of leadership and service. We focus on high school seniors from the Milwaukee area and reserve preference for first-generation and/or low-income applicants, but not limited to these parameter. Rooted in Marquette's tradition of increasing access to higher education, the scholarship program continues our emphasis on being inclusive and modeling a more diverse community.
