Each fall, the Marquette University Graduate School hosts an on-campus open house event for prospective students interested in any Graduate School programs.
We encourage you to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to meet and greet directors of graduate studies, faculty, Graduate School staff and other representatives from your program of interest in a casual, conversational format.
Note: The $50 application fee will be waived for all students who submit a Graduate School online application after the Open House. Specific details will be available at the event for all attendees.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2016 Graduate School Open House. Next year's event will be held on November 2, 2017.
In the meantime, we encourage you to schedule a one-on-one campus visit to learn more about our programs.
Schedule of events
4:00pm Walking tours of campus (optional)
5:00pm Presentation by Graduate School staff
5:15pm Discussion and Q&A with program representatives
We encourage you to arrive by 5:15 p.m. If no students have arrived to speak with a representative in your particular area of interest by that time, representatives are not expected to stay, and you may miss your opportunity to speak with them at the event.
Free visitor parking will be available on the day of the event in the 16th Street Parking Structure, located at 749 N. 16th Street (number 54 on the map of campus), or in Wells Street Parking Structure, located at 1240 W. Wells Street (number 67 on the map of campus). Please be sure to inform the attendant that you are visiting Marquette for the Graduate School Open House, and parking will be free. It may be necessary to use the Intercom System if there is no attendant on duty.
Driving directions to campus are available online.
If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact the Graduate School at 414-288-7137.
We still encourage you to visit Marquette University in person and learn more about our offerings. You can request a one-on-one campus visit for a day and time that works better with your schedule.
