In partnership with the Greater Milwaukee Committee and the Faye McBeath Foundation, the Education Deans of Greater Milwaukee is proud to launch an annual award to recognize the outstanding accomplishments and impact of individual educators in the Greater Milwaukee community.

The Education Deans of Greater Milwaukee has partnered with the Faye McBeath Foundation since 2013 in recognizing an individual who represents a long-standing commitment to educational issues and has contributed significantly to closing the achievement gap, driving improvements in teaching and learning, and facilitating high performance in schools. This individual, over the course of a long career, continues to merit the respect and admiration of stakeholders such as thought leaders in education, school leaders, and organizational or institutional leaders engaged in student success initiatives.

The Champion of Education award recipient is selected by the Education Deans of Greater Milwaukee members.
