The Examen(ed) Church at Marquette will: 

• Accompany a group of committed churches through a process leading to greater congregational self-awareness and health in the areas of contextual awareness, mission and vision, and Christian practice.  
• Assist congregations in reimagining themselves considering cultural and demographic changes. 
• Create opportunities for spiritual and theological formation for lay leaders by introducing Ignatian reflective practices and encouraging practices based in the churches’ own traditions. 
• Produce durable content of value to other churches interested in pursuing greater church vigor in the forms of workshops, seminars, retreats, and virtual resources.
• Equip and inspire participant churches to partner with fellow congregations to promote greater ecclesial health and unity throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.
