  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to be able to comfortably navigate Marquette’s campus and become familiar with all the University has to offer its students and employees.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in neuroscience and the rehabilitation of neurologically impaired patients. 
  • I’d like to learn more about the neuroscience recovery clinic and connect with faculty/staff there.

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to submit a fellowship or grant, and to connect with students who are interested in being involved with research.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in human movement, neuroscience, and community-focused research. 
  • I’d like to learn more about how Marquette interacts with and supports surrounding communities.  ​



Michele SheehanMichele Sheehan

Clinical Assistant Professor

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to network and build relationships within the university and the surrounding community in order to support the goals of Marquette’s College of Health Science Occupational Therapy Program and ensure the students are provided with an excellent experience.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in developing relationships with clinical placements and finding ways to foster student success in developing clinical skills. 
  • I’d like to learn more about collaborative opportunities with the community, curriculum development, and engaging teaching methodologies.

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to establish my research lab, build professional relationships within the College of Health Sciences and familiarize myself in teaching the DPT students.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in research, neuroscience, and pulmonary control. 
  • I’d like to learn more about core research centers/resources available on campus.

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to develop healthy working relations with my colleagues, become immersed in the Marquette community, establish my lab and submit a K02 award to the NIA.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in health and human performance. 
  • I’d like to learn more about opportunities aimed at fostering multidisciplinary research collaborations across Marquette’s campus and other institutions in the Milwaukee area.

Physician Assistant Studies

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to develop relationships with my colleagues and learn from their experiences as well as contribute to the Marquette community.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in health disparities and the underserved population of Milwaukee county and those interested in interdisciplinary curriculum. 
  • I’d like to learn more about the various committee opportunities throughout the university.

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to grow as a professor by sharing my experiences as a Physician Assistant in the classroom, learning from colleagues, and fostering relationships with my department and students.

  • I’d like to learn more about innovative teaching styles and curriculum development.  ​
