- During my first year on campus, I’d like to (1) become familiar with the campus, the resources available to faculty, and the resources available for students; (2) find ways to support faculty, staff, and students with the emotional difficulties of navigating education in a pandemic; and (3) keep myself mentally and physically well for the benefit of myself, my colleagues, and my students.
- I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in (1) social justice at the local, state, national, and global levels; (2) mindfulness practices to improve social awareness and reduce mental and physical stress; and (3) academic leadership.
- I’d like to learn more about (1) how the university engages with the local and state populations, (2) how the university keeps employees and students safe in a pandemic environment, and (3) opportunities for faculty to participate in university governance.
