What jobs are currently available and how do I apply?

All current openings can be found online at employment.marquette.edu. You must apply online through the Employment@Marquette site, attaching a cover letter and/or resume if required. Please do not send cover letters or resumes to the Department of Human Resources.

How are jobs advertised?

All faculty and non-faculty vacancies are posted on the Employment@Marquette website.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

Go to the login screen and click I forgot my password. You will be prompted for your username and asked to answer the security questions you answered when setting up your job application account. If you need further assistance, contact us at (414) 288-7305.

Can I apply for more than one opening?

You may attach an application to as many openings as you'd like. You simply need to view each position that you wish to apply for and then attach your application to the specific opening.

Can I apply directly with the hiring department?

No. Applicants are required to apply through the Employment@Marquette website. This is the central point for all job vacancies.

How long will the selection process take?

The selection process can take anywhere from three weeks to three months. The time frame will vary based on a number of factors. Applicants who are selected for an interview will be contacted via phone and/or email. You can check the status of the positions that you applied to by logging into the Employment@Marquette website.

Can I apply for jobs on the telephone, fax or by email?

No. Applicants are required to use the Employment@Marquette system.

Can I go back and edit my application after I have submitted it for an opening?

Applications cannot be edited once they have been submitted for a particular opening. However, edits can be made at any point before your application is completed.

How can I be sure that my application was properly received online?

You will receive a confirmation number at the very end of the application process. You will also receive an email, if an email address is provided when you complete your application.
