Rick T. Dillon, Bus Ad ’93, was elected to the Marquette University Board of Trustees in 2020.

He is the chief financial officer at Suniva Inc., a leading American manufacturer of high-efficiency crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) solar cells and modules.

Rick’s prior roles include serving as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Vestis, a leading provider of uniform services and workplace supplies; for Enerpac Tool Group Corp.; and for Century Aluminum Co. He served as vice president-finance for Global Surface Mining Group and as vice president-controller and chief accounting officer for Joy Global (now Komatsu Mining). He held various financial roles of increasing responsibility at Newell Brands and Briggs & Stratton Corp. and began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP.

He is a cum laude graduate of Marquette University’s Honors Program and the College of Business Administration with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Rick has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a Milwaukee native and a graduate of Milwaukee Public Schools.

Rick previously served on the board of directors for Adient, a global leader in automotive seating.

In 2019, he received Milwaukee Business Journal’s CFO of the Year Award.

Rick resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Kimberly, and their two children. He is a member of the Marquette University President’s Society.
