Leadership at Marquette

The Board of Trustees and university leadership believe a Marquette education is a transformational one. Through a rigorous, values-centered curriculum, Marquette develops students' minds and hearts, creating graduates who are poised to lead limitless lives. This shared vision helps university leadership guide Marquette in preparing students to be men and women for others in the Jesuit tradition.

Dr. Michael R. Lovell is the 24th president of Marquette University. A distinguished scholar, researcher, educator and leader, President Lovell holds three academic degrees in mechanical engineering, including a doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh.
