Ms. Jenna Santoianni

Jenna Santoianni, Comm ’06, was elected to the Marquette University Board of Trustees in 2026.

Throughout her career, Jenna has built a reputation for fostering collaborative creator relationships and shepherding major television hits across major streaming and cable networks. As president of MRC’s Television Group, Jenna oversees MRC’s current programming including The Terminal List; The Terminal List: Dark Wolf; Rabbit, Rabbit; M.I.A.; Ted; Ted: The Animated Series; and Poker Face. She also handles the slate of development, all joint ventures and production partnerships, as well as the television studio’s operational units, including production, business and legal affairs, and production finance. MRC is the leading independent entertainment studio behind some of the world’s most iconic, award-winning television series, films and documentaries. Founded in 2006, MRC develops, finances and produces visionary storytelling that resonates with global audiences.

Previously, Jenna was executive vice president of Paramount Television Studios. As EVP and head of development, she oversaw development and production of such series as Grease: The Rise of the Pink Ladies (Paramount+); Made for Love (HBO Max); Station Eleven (HBO Max); Joe Pickett (Charter Spectrum); The Offer (Paramount+); and Fatal Attraction (Paramount+). She rose to prominence during her five-year stint as EVP TV series at Sonar Entertainment, executive producing a slew of series for the indie studio, including Das Boot (Sky/Hulu); The Son (AMC); Taboo (FX); The Shannara Chronicles (MTV/Paramount Network); Lorena (Amazon); Hunters (Amazon); and Mr. Mercedes (DirecTV).

Jenna was recognized by Variety in 2025 as one of the Top 50 television producers. She was featured on The Hollywood Reporter’s annual "Next Gen" list in 2017. Jenna is also a two-time mentor for The Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment program.

Jenna received the Spirit of Marquette Award in 2025. She teaches The Business of Television, a one-credit seminar in the J. William and Mary Diederich College of Communication. She co-founded the Marquette Entertainment and Communications Alumni (MECA) organization, which helps Marquette graduates gain their footing in Los Angeles. She also is integral in the planning and support behind the Los Angeles Diederich Experience. Jenna is a member of the Marquette University President's Society and has also been a Marquette Mentor for over a decade.

She lives in Studio City, California, with her husband, Eric, and her three daughters, Harlow, Vienna and Willa.
