Dr. Yasser Khaled is an assistant professor in the Marquette University School of Dentistry, specializing in oral pathology, oral medicine and TMD/orofacial pain. The son of a diplomat, Khaled has visited, worked and studied in 15 different countries on five different continents. He has a BDS and a MDSc in oral pathology from Ain Shams University, Egypt; a fellowship in oral surgery from University Sains Malaysia, Malaysia; a MMSc in TMD/orofacial pain from the University of Alberta, Canada; and a GPR certificate and oral medicine certificate from Carolina Medical Center, United States. Khaled, who has been awarded with hundreds of certificates from around the world, won the Lester Burkett Award from the American Academy of Oral Medicine in 2017 for best research.
