Carol Trecek, Arts '86, Grad '91 is the director of continuing education and alumni relations in the Marquette School of Dentistry. A double alumna, Carol holds a bachelor of arts in psychology and an MBA.

Trecek joined Marquette upon graduation in 1986, working in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions where she had interned her final year of college. She has served as an admissions counselor and alumni admissions coordinator before joining the School of Dentistry in 1993.

On campus, Trecek currently serves as chair of the University Staff Senate. She has also chaired the senate's service subcommittee, served two terms as the University Staff Senate representative on the Marquette University Police Department Advisory Board, worked with the Marquette Volunteers and served on the Corporate Engagement Task Force -- Academic Programs and Executive Education.

Nationally, Trecek has served as both chair and councilor of the American Dental Education Association Section on Continuing Education. She was president and is currently treasurer of the Association for Continuing Dental Education. A member of the Wisconsin Dental Association's Annual Sessions Committee, Trecek was recently appointed to serve on the American Dental Association's Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition.
