Chris Pfankuch - Office Associate

Job Responsibilities

  • Process student employment hires, changes and payroll for approximately 200 student employees.
  • Prepare and reconcile daily deposits/sales
  • Manage sports equipment and locker key inventory
  • Assist and train students in processing memberships, main office inquiries and service staff positions
  • Represent Rec Sports at new employee orientation meetings.
  • Work with other campus departments on special projects and interview committees
  • Support Club Sports


  • BS, Business – Marketing, Minor: Psychology, Marquette University, 1989


  • Chris worked in the Kitchen and Bath Industry right out of college, first at Rohl Corporation in Costa Mesa, CA  (3 years) and later at Lippert Corporation in Menomonee Falls (10 years) as a Marketing Director.
  • In 2002 Chris began working for Strong Funds in Menomonee Falls as a licensed broker helping clients with their financial goals and selling securities and products that met their needs.
  • Since 2008 Chris has worked at Marquette University, returning not only to her alma mater but also to the same building where she worked as a Building Supervisor during her college years.
  • Chris works at Marquette during the academic year only.  During the summer she typically works Summerfest and at the Elite Sports Clubs in Brookfield.     


  • Chris and her husband, Pat, have two boys and three girls. Joe is a Sophomore at Marquette University studying Business, Adam is a Freshman at MU in Biomedical Sciences/Pre-Med, Julia is a Junior at Catholic Memorial High School and the twins, Noelle and Kristina, are in 8th grade.  Pat is a Broadcast Engineer and travels the country to broadcast live, remote sporting events. They reside in Brookfield and are members of St. John Vianney parish.  
  • In her spare time Chris enjoys attending the girls’ many sporting events as well as helping out at St. John Vianney, Catholic Memorial and with various service organizations.
  • Other interests include planning family vacations, summer concerts, Spinning, Marquette Basketball, and the Los Angeles Rams.
