The Les Aspin Center offers summer- and semester-long internship programs in Washington, D.C., and Milwaukee. Both programs give students an opportunity to work alongside some of today's most prominent local and national politicians and public servants. Students will learn about and witness the making of public policy, as well as study the role of art in culture, interest-group politics, the U.S. Congress, and urban social issues.

Our unique internship programs are open to eligible students pursuing any field of study attending any university. In fact, we have programs tailored specifically for students studying biomedical engineering, biomedical science, business administration, communication and nursing. If you're interested in learning more about careers in public service, we have a program to fit your needs.
