RISE will include:

  • Workshops to develop skills and strategies for success in your first year and beyond
  • An opportunity to connect with fellow students, faculty, and staff of color
  • Team building events and activities to build community
  • An exploration of Milwaukee

Overnight accommodations, meals and transportation during program will be provided.

Space is limited and students will be selected on a competitive basis. Students will receive an individualized invitation via e-mail to apply – if you are interested and do not receive an e-mail please contact Zuleyka Rios at zuleyka.rios@marquette.edu.

FAQ

Is this a free program?

As Marquette is committed to diversity and inclusion we have decided to offer this program at no cost. Registration, meals, transportation and housing will all be covered by the program.

Yes, staying overnight is mandatory and commuter students will be able to spend the night on campus.
