Discovery Benefits is the university's new FSA and HSA Administrator effecive 1/1/19. They have sent new FSA and HSA debit cards to employees who have enrolled in this benefit for 2019.

2019 FSA & HSA Maximum Annual Contribution Amounts:

You may contribute $5,000 per calendar year per household for Dependent Child Care FSA Expenses and $2,700 per calendar year per employee for Health Care FSA or Limited Purpose Health Care FSA Expenses.

HSA annual contributions may not exceed $3,500 if you have single coverage or $7,000 if you have non-single coverage. Individuals age 55 and over may make an additional $1,000 catch up contribution. Married individuals may each make a catch up contribution, although the maximum amount that can be contributed to one HSA for the calendar year is $8,000 (the $7,000 statutory maximum plus a $1,000 catch up contribution). *Note there is a 6% excise tax on any individual contribution that exceeds the allowed annual maximum. Please consult your tax advisor.

It’s time to get your flu shot and not the Flu!

Injectable influenza vaccinations will be available to students, faculty and staff at several locations throughout campus.

There is no charge for the vaccination for full-time undergraduate students and employees and dependents participating in the Marquette medical insurance plan.  For employees and eligible dependents who are enrolled in one the University’s medical plans, please bring your insurance ID card to the flu clinic.  For all others, the cost of the vaccination is $25.
