COVID-19 Update

The Physical Therapy Clinic is only seeing urgent, post-operative cases in-person at this time, until at least April 30.

For all non-urgent cases (both for established patients and new patients), we are offering Telehealth, e-visits and virtual check-ins.

If you are a patient needing care, please contact our office so we can discuss which treatment option is appropriate for you based on your condition and need.

Telehealth Basics

Telehealth is the use of electronic communication to remotely provide health care information and services to patients. Telehealth allows for early access to care and also eases access to care for those individuals with transportation limitations.

Many of us are now being forced to change the way we routinely operate.  Fast changes can often lead to new or re-emerging sources of pain. In addition to pain that may have been elicited by new lifestyle patterns, people still injure themselves accidentally every day.  It doesn’t matter if it’s a strain in your lower back, a kink in the neck or a sprained ankle, our trained clinicians at the MUPT Clinic can guide you through an evaluation, give you information on the severity of your injury, and prescribe a number of things to help manage and treat your injury.

Evidence has shown that Telehealth services can be just as effective as in-person services in most, but not all, cases.
