Meet your Mentors and "It's Not on the Syllabus!" Breakout Session

Learn more about these student mentors beforehand by visiting our RISE Instagram page (@rise_marquette). They are excited to help you succeed at Marquette!

Bring your questions to student mentors who have a year or more of experience at Marquette! There's no bad question!

Game time! - What (and who) are the Campus Resources?

Game format will be announced closer to August 19!

Day 2: Thursday, August 20, 2020 starting at 3 p.m.

What is there to do in Milwaukee?  A slideshow presentation by RISE Mentors

Whether you are a Milwaukee native or not, mentors will share their favorite things to do in the city and offer some other thoughts of how to stay involved both on and off campus.

"It's All About Balance!" Introductions from the Office of Engagement and Inclusion and Office of Student Educational Services

We know that students who get involved find an easier time transitioning to college life but that students want to do well in courses too!  This is an opportunity to meet the departments that can help you do both!

"Survey Says!" - Virtual Family Feud: Starts at 5 PM

All RISE participants, past and present, are invited!  Which RISE family will take home the prizes?

Tentative for Fall 2020

We will convene the RISE students in accordance to the CDC and University guidelines during the fall semester. Students who register and attend the virtual sessions on August 19 and August 20 will be notified of those programs.
