Institute for Women's Leadership
In January 2019, President Mike Lovell announced Marquette's newest research initiative, the Institute for Women's Leadership, overseen by the Office of Research and Innovation. The new Institute was made possible thanks to a generous $5 million donation from the Thomas J. Rolfs Family Foundation. The goal of the Institute will be to advance research in the area of gender inequality, and create programming and training opportunities for women in leadership, both on campus and in the larger community. The official launch for the Institute for Women's Leadership is planned for Summer 2019.
