Mary Workman graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Stevens Point in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Military Science and Leadership. She joined the Marquette University Physician Assistant Program as the Assessment Coordinator in January 2021.

In addition to her work at Marquette, Mary has served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard since 2013. She currently serves as a Medical Service Corps Officer specializing in medical planning and operations. She deployed overseas from 2018-2019 in support of multiple operations in the Middle East with the 1st Battalion 121st Field Artillery Regiment, and again in 2022-2023 in support of operations and crisis planning for the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
