Speech Pathology and Audiology

Katherine Czelatdko (Pronouns: She, Her, Hers) earned her Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1999, and Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2001.  Katherine has twenty years of experience working as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist within the public school setting. Her clinical expertise lies in working with children and young adults ages 3 to 21 within the areas of social emotional learning and augmentative alternative communication (AAC).  Katherine has also provided services in identifying, evaluating, diagnosing and treating clients with speech and language delays and disorders within the following areas: articulation, phonology, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language and social communication.  She has directly provided therapy within the school setting to clients that fall within the disability areas of: genetic disorders, emotional behavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, social communication disorders, mental health disorders, specific learning disabilities and significant developmental delays. Katherine also has a high interest in providing services to the transgender population, specifically within the areas of gender-affirming voice and communication therapy.  Katherine currently provides clinical instruction to both graduate and undergraduate students at the Marquette University Speech and Hearing Clinic, oversees TIMs Camp, and teaches the graduate level AAC course.  She joined the faculty full-time in 2018.
