Clinical Assistant Professor, Speech Pathology and Audiology
Caitlin Courtney earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Marquette University in 2013 after obtaining her undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. Caitlin has experience working as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the educational and medical fields. Caitlin also has experience working in skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient brain injury and neurology, acute care, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of cognitive, swallowing, and speech/language disorders on a multidisciplinary team. Caitlin has worked for many years in the public and private school settings diagnosing and treating receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation, phonology, fluency, social/pragmatic language disorders, implementing and planning the use of augmentative and alternative communication systems, including a variety of speech generating devices. Caitlin has enjoyed many years of supervising graduate students in their medical and school placements. She has also served as a clinical fellow mentor and supervisor.
