Safety Alerts

Timely and effective notification provides the best possible opportunity to safeguard the well-being of the campus community if there is a crisis or threat to campus.

When a crime or incident is reported that poses a threat to campus, the Marquette University Police Department, in conjunction with other university departments, issues safety alerts through text messages and emails to Marquette students, faculty and staff. Learn more about what prompts a safety alert and how to find more information about incidents.
