Our mission

The Alumni Memorial Union houses many resources for students within its walls.  Whether it's fulfilling your banking, postal, MarquetteCard, entertainment or hunger needs, the AMU has something that will assist you.

University Information Center

The University Information Center handles all calls that come in to Marquette University via the school's general phone numbers. The center is located on the second floor of the Alumni Memorial Union.

The student staff at the University Information Center handle an average of nearly 50 phone calls per hour and 25 walk-up requests.

Union Station

Need stamps or a money order?

Need to know where to use your MarquetteCard?

Just go to Union Station, room 158 of the AMU, and get it all done at the same time!

Union Station is a multi-purpose office and is home to MarquetteCard Services and the Post Office. Union Station offers U.S.P.S. Domestic and International services with daily pick ups Monday through Friday at 3:30 p.m. Guests can also take advantage of UPS (Domestic only) with daily pick ups Monday - Friday at 2:30 p.m. for additional shipping needs. Union Station also has shipping supplies, such as boxes and padded envelopes, available for sale.

Brooks Lounge

The Brooks Lounge is one of the AMU's hang out spaces. Named after the former student union at Marquette, Brooks Hall.

Brooks Lounge offers an opportunity for guests in the AMU to unwind by shooting pool for free, playing one of the many board games the lounge has on hand, relaxing in front of a tv, or grabbing a booth with charging outlets to get some work done.

Marquette Place

Marquette Place is the main food court in the Alumni Memorial Union that offers a number of different concepts to suit all your cravings! Einstein Bagels is just one option for food in Marquette Place.

Brew Cafe

The Brew Cafe is one of the most unique areas of the AMU. Disguised as a New Orleans-style coffee shop, it is favorite hang out for staff and students looking to grab a cup of caffeine or a bit to eat. Students have even been known to get some studying done!

The Brew Bayou is also your link to the Internet with a "Cyber Lounge" and wireless Internet access for those with laptops connected to the Marquette system. The Cyber Lounge features four web-connected computers available for guests use.

The Brew Cafe menu includes gourmet sandwiches, salads, coffees, pastries, bagels, muffins and even sushi! The Brew Bayou also carries a large selection of juices, cold coffee, frappes and soft drinks for those times when a cup of coffee just isn't enough!

Brew Cudahy

If you are on the first floor of Cudahy Hall, head over to the second coffee shop to open on campus, Brew Cudahy. Brew Cudahy offers a "Cyber Lounge" as well as many of the food items as Brew Bayou, including coffee, pastries and sandwiches to-go! It's a great place to relax between classes and is open during the academic year and Saturdays during summer.

Brew Straz

Brew Straz was the third coffee shop opened on campus. Located in David A. Straz, Jr. College of Business Administration, the Brew Straz satisfies the needs of many of Marquette's MBA students.

The Brew Straz is located on the main level of the College of Business Administration in the Brownlee Atrium, a 1999 addition made to the building in honor of Ralph Brownlee, emeritus professor of marketing. The atrium has four computers connected to the Internet for guest use.

Brew @ The Bridge

Brew @ The Bridge is the newest Brew location. Located on the walk bridge between the second floor of the Memorial Library and the new Rev. John P. Raynor, S.J. Library, Brew @ The Bridge offers computer stations, televisions, and daily newspapers for free use by guests.

Lunda Room featuring Innovation Kitchen

Join us in the Lunda Room Monday through Friday for a Cafe experience right on Campus! Featuring a daily buffet featuring Market Fresh Salad Bar, homemade Soups, specialty & theme entrees, as well as, our daily vegetarian or vegan feature! When on campus, shop the Marquette Spirit Shop, located on the ground floor, east entrance. The Spirit Shop has a great selection of officially licensed Marquette apparel and gifts for the MU student, alum or fan. The Marquette Spirit Shop is open year round.
