Central Services

Central Services provides customer service, administrative support, work order management, iService work requests, maintenance procurement, capital and operating budget coordination, staffing needs, records management, and project support for FP&M.

Custodial Services

Custodial Services is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy environment in all campus academic buildings and residence halls. 

The duties of the custodial staff are many and varied. Please see services provided to better understand the work that custodial services performs.

General Maintenance

The general maintenance shop is responsible for maintenance and repair of campus building structures. Broadly speaking, general maintenance is responsible for general carpentry, cabinet-related projects, sign services, paint shop and lock shop. Grounds

The Grounds crew is responsible for maintaining the exterior campus environment including landscaping, snow removal, and sidewalk maintenance. Grounds also provides service to Marquette University departmental vehicles and grounds equipment. Many of the challenges and responsibilities of this area change to a large extent with the seasons.

Mail Services

The Mail shop is responsible for sorting, delivering, and collecting mail across campus. The mail will be delivered and collected on a specified day.

Mechanical Maintenance 

Mechanical Maintenance is responsible for the maintenance and repair of building mechanical and electrical systems. These systems include heating, ventilation, cooling, electrical systems, lighting systems, control systems, and plumbing. This is the service area which provides corrective action for areas that are too hot or too cold. Please see services provided to better understand the work that mechanical maintenance performs.

Parking Services

The Parking Services Office is responsible for all parking on campus, including surface parking lots, parking structures, and restricted areas such as the malls and loading zones. See more information on parking.

Trucking

The Trucking team is responsible for all campus moving services including mail, furniture, trash and recycling.
