Honors Living-Learning Community
The Honors Living-Learning Community, for first-years and sophomores in Straz Tower, is at the heart of Core Honors. Offering students the opportunity to integrate their social and academic lives through informal and formal Honors programming, the LLC supports academic success and fosters life-long friendships. Straz Tower, on the southeast corner of campus, offers numerous amenities, including air-conditioning; a dining hall; private bathrooms; the Rec Plex, one of Marquette’s two gyms and fitness centers, downstairs – and some of Milwaukee’s most beautiful city views. The building is also just across the bridge from Sensenbrenner Hall, where students have round-the-clock access to study and use of the Honors suite. If you’re coming to campus for a visit, be sure to tell Admissions that you’re interested in Honors and would like to see Straz. If you contact the Honors office directly, we may also be able to set up a personal Straz tour with a current Honors student.
