Welcome to the Office of Institutional Research and Analysis

The Office of Institutional Research and Analysis (OIRA) connects Marquette University stakeholders with accurate, reliable, and actionable information to enable effective decision making in support of student success. We support institutional enrollment management, assessment, program review, accreditation, and academic planning by collecting, integrating, analyzing, and reporting varied institutional data and information. We also respond to requests for institutional data from federal agencies and other external organizations.

OIRA COVID-19 Update

All OIRA staff are working remotely. We are still available to assist with requests for information and would be happy to meet with you remotely. Several of our projects/responsibilities have been affected by COVID-19:

  1. Student course evaluations (MOCES) will NOT be conducted for the Spring 2020 term. This decision is in response to Marquette’s decision to move all courses online as a result of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please email courseval@marquette.edu with any questions or concerns.
  2. Qualtrics office hours will still be available via Microsoft Teams.
  3. New procedures for data collection for the Graduating Senior Survey and First Destination Survey are being investigated. Final decisions on how and when to gather the data will be posted here where available.
  4. OIRA's Provost Office Open Office Hours will be held via Microsoft Teams.
