Are you interested in getting involved with service? Register for Urban Connection.

WHY?
Marquette University has a strong tradition of service with the community, and Urban Connection is a great way to learn about service at Marquette. You will make a difference in your new community and meet many of your new classmates.

WHAT?
Teams of students will explore Milwaukee and engage in various community service projects at one of 30 local nonprofits. Your team might work in a community garden, serve meals to our neighbors in need, staff a community recycling event, or sort donated children’s books — just to name a few. If you have limitations, let us know, and we can find the right site for you.

WHO?
Volunteers will be matched with a team of new students and accompanied by an Orientation staff member. Orientation staff members are assigned to each group to serve as team leaders. Teams may walk, take public bus or be provided Marquette transportation, pending location of sites, size of groups and tool needs.

WHEN?
Details to come shortly.
