The Helen Way Klingler College of Arts and Sciences is truly the heart and soul of Marquette University. It is here that you will find the rich heritage of a Catholic, Jesuit education that promises to provide you with a transformative educational experience based on academic excellence, social justice, faith and service.

The world will always need ethical leaders who are able to think critically and act with commitment. Leaders who not only expect change, but demand it. Leaders who understand how to act with and for others. In preparing ethical leaders, we will inspire you to grow and to express yourself, to wrestle with some of life’s biggest questions, and to develop a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

Classrooms are where the rich world of human experience is examined and allows you to contemplate the questions of “how,” “what,” “where,” and “why.” These learning experiences, along with participation in faculty mentored research projects, internships, service learning and community service and study abroad programs prepare you not only for a career, but for a lifetime of achievement. The large variety of majors and minors offered in the college is one of our central strengths.  With proper planning you can earn a double major or earn both an undergraduate and master’s degree within five years, making you more marketable to potential employers, while saving you time and money.

I encourage you to explore the offerings in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences and the many career paths that are available to you
