Welcome!

Cru is a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. Our vision is to help build spiritual movements everywhere so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus. Whether you’re exploring things of faith or have been walking with God for many years, we welcome you to join us!

Cru group

What does Cru do?

We love to help students encounter Jesus together in community, be equipped to have a personal relationship with God, and be empowered to live a life of impact. Here are some of the things we do to cultivate this at Marquette:

Small Groups

We have a handful of groups of students who connect weekly to read the Bible together, learn how to apply it in everyday life, and encourage one another. These are a great entry point for students who are exploring Jesus and his message.

Cru Weekly Meeting

Every Thursday night at 8:00 pm students from Marquette gather for our large weekly gathering. Some weeks we gather in AMU 157 to worship together, meet one another, hear an engaging message from the Bible, and get updates on upcoming opportunities with Cru. Other weeks we will utilize this time for other events, such as community service events, social events, or worship nights.

Discipleship

We think this is one of the most exciting opportunities available to us. Jesus invited his disciples to “follow” him, and we get to continue that ministry today by helping one another intentionally do the same.

How do I get connected?

Cru has people coming in and out all across the year, so we hope you’ll feel comfortable to check things out whenever you’d like. Below is the contact info for those who help oversee our different opportunities.

We look forward to meeting you!
