Ramadan Mubarak

HAPPY RAMADAN!

As we come to the last month of academic work in the Spring 2021 semester, Muslim members of the Marquette community have started their observance of the holy month of Ramadan. The month of Ramadan celebrates the revelation of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad from God through the Angel Gabriel. This year the month of Ramadan begins on Monday, April 12th. To all Muslim members of the Marquette community, have a blessed Ramadan and best wishes for this special period of spiritual transformation. Ramadan Mubarak!

On the evening of Wednesday, May 12th Muslims will begin to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, a three day celebration marking the end of Ramadan, the holiest month of the year for Muslims.
