Vocational Discernment

Women’s Discernment Group:
Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, a women’s discernment group meets monthly to discuss experiences and questions, share information, and meet women religious. It’s open to all women who are considering religious life or would like to learn more about it—you do not need to be committed to religious life, just curious about it. Privacy is respected and the names of participants are only shared with each other. Contact Sara Knutson, if you would like more information or to join.
Some online resources suggested by sisters involved at Marquette include:

Jesuit Discernment Group:
The Jesuit Community runs a discernment group for students interested in a vocation as a Jesuit, as well as providing other support. For more information, contact Fr. John Thiede, SJ. Lots of online information about a Jesuit vocation can be found at Be A Jesuit.

Diocesan Priesthood Resources:
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has all their information on priesthood and vocation at Thinkpriest.org. Students curious about a priestly vocation can contact Fr. John LoCoco, Vocation Director, by email. (Even if the Milwaukee archdiocese is not your home diocese, you can still contact Fr. John and he will help you get connected to your home Vocations Office.)
