October 2018—Up-to-date, authoritative information on 1,239 Wisconsin grant-making philanthropies is now available in the new 2018 Foundations in Wisconsin. The directory, published in print and online by Raynor Memorial Libraries’ Funding Information Center, is designed for students, researchers, artists, and others looking for funding from the state’s private, corporate, and community grantors. Total grants in 2018 reached record high of more than $755,000,000.
The Funding Information Center, which produces the directory each year, also hosts a collection that focuses on private foundations, philanthropy, fundraising, grantsmanship, and many related topics. It includes most publications of the Foundation Center in New York, Internal Revenue Service returns (990 PF's) for Wisconsin foundations, and a wide selection of books, directories, and other publications.
For Marquette grant seekers, Foundations in Wisconsin is available free of charge as a searchable online directory. To learn more about the directory or the Funding Information Center, see the center’s website, or contact Mary Frenn, (414) 288-1995.
