Undergraduate: New freshmen must register for and attend a SPARK@HOME session before they register for classes via CheckMarq. SPARK is Summer Priority Advising & Registration Kick-off. You will also have opportunities to connect with your academic advisor during the summer months and Orientation. Personalized registration links are available on your Marquette application status page. Attending SPARK is mandatory. 

New transfer students will be connected with an academic advisor to discuss transfer credit and class registration. Transfer students register for classes via CheckMarq.   

Graduate Students: New graduate students have many course requirements in their specialized areas of study. Graduate students should contact their academic department for registration advice. Graduate students register for classes via CheckMarq.  

Exchange Students:  New exchange students will be registered for the classes they indicated at the time of application by their host College but they can view these courses in their CheckMarq account. There will be time during Orientation to request changes. Exchange students with questions about course selection and class schedules before Orientation should contact Ms. Karli Webster at karlin.webster@marquette.edu.
