The Marquette Explorer Program is a concurrent dual-enrollment program offered by Marquette University for partner high school students. Explorer program credentials high school instructors to teach Marqutte undergradaute courses at the high school. The program offers qualified high school students who have demonstrated dedication, ability, and motivation the opportunity to begin taking college level courses while they are still in high school. (First-year international undergraduate students around the world are also able to register for Explorer courses as non-degree seeking students.)
Dual-enrollment Programs are growing exponentially in popularity among high school students, both domestically and internationally. Students who finish dual-enrollment programs can not only graduate college early and save tuition, but can also gain confidence by seeing their own success at managing college level coursework successfully.

Marquette University is a private Jesuit research university in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Established by the Society of Jesus as Marquette College on August 28, 1881. The university was named after 17th-century missionary and explorer Father Jacques Marquette, S.J. Marquette is part of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and currently has a student body of about 12,000. Marquette is one of the largest Jesuit universities in the United States, and the largest private university in Wisconsin.
Marquette University's 11 colleges and schools deliver nationally recognized programs for undergraduates, graduate and professional students, and working professionals. For prospective undergraduate students, Marquette offers 83 majors and 80 minors, as well as pre-professional programs in dentistry, law and medicine. For postgraduate students, Marquette offers 66 doctoral and master's degree programs, 18 graduate certificate programs, and a School of Dentistry and Law School.
